About Brian Borts
For over twenty five years, Brian Borts has specialized in meeting the accounting and financial needs of those in the arts and entertainment industry. To this very diverse group of people, Brian is a Chartered Accountant with a difference. From personal and corporate income tax and GST returns to incorporations and financial statements, Brian provides a fully integrated range of services. His practice includes over 900 clients who live and/or work all over Canada, the United States and Europe. Brian is often asked to speak about “The Business of Art” at various gatherings in the arts community. He has also lectured to groups of the graduating classes at Sheridan, George Brown Colleges, Windsor and Ryerson Polytechnical Institute. In addition to serving a very diverse group of clients, he sits as a volunteer member of several Boards of Directors in the capacity of Treasurer or Director.
