Kaha:wi Dance Theatre - Invites you to a free session on Funding Opportunities for Dancers and Choreographers

Friday August 14th, Toronto 

KDT is delighted to host a FREE session on Funding Opportunities for ALL Toronto-area dancers during its Summer Training Intensive.  There is absolutely NO fee to attend this brief session on funding opportunities for dancers and choreographers (with a focus on Aboriginal dancers).  Presenters will include representatives from the Canada Council for the Arts, the Ontario Arts Council, the Toronto Arts Council and the Canadian Alliance of Dance Artists (CADA).  

As part of this session, the Dancer Transition Resource Centre (DTRC) will talk about programs and services available to dancers in transition. 

When:  Friday August 14, 2009: 3:15 - 5 pm
Where: Canada's National Ballet School, 406 Jarvis St., Toronto, ON (Subway: College or Wellesley)
Who:  Any interested dancers
