Shannon Litzenberger is an active and energetic presence in the Canadian dance scene.
As a Toronto-based artist, she is engaged in exploring themes of social and cultural politics through her creative work in dance and has collaborated with some of Canada’s most dynamic artistic voices including David Earle, Michael Greyeyes, DA Hoskins, Heidi Strauss, Darryl Tracy and Meagan O’Shea.  Currently, she is collaborating with award-winning dancer, choreographer and director Marie-Josée Chartier on the creation of a new full evening solo work on the theme of ‘Home’.  Shannon is also an enthusiastic advocate for the sector in her role as Executive Director of the Canadian Dance Assembly – the national representative association for professional dance in Canada.  She contributes regular articles on dance policy to The Dance Current magazine.

Rebecca Hope Terry is a multi-disciplinary performer with a career spanning over 18 years. As a dancer she has performed with many Canadian contemporary dance companies/choreographers in Toronto and Vancouver including Mascall Dance, Jumpstart, Judith Marcuse, Denise Fujiwara, Lola MacLaughlin and Dancemakers.  Her dance-theatre works have been presented in Vancouver, Toronto, Ottawa, Calgary, Edinburgh and rural England. She recently choreographed and assistant directed, along Tim Albery, The Children's Crusade by R. Murray Schafer and will tour Denise Fujiwara's No Exit in 2010. Along with her performing/choreographing/teaching career she has worked with adults who are developmentally delayed in day programs, taught movement to people who are blind and worked with girls in correctional institutes. Her performance background helps to support her insight into the physical / soulful components of the body and its relationship to the self. She is a "light-worker" in Craniosacral Therapy and Energy Balancing and works out of several clinics in Toronto.  "I believe that art can unveil our humanity in all of its facets, revealing our potential: intellectually, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Given this holistic opportunity, art can bring fullness to our lives." - Rebecca Hope Terry
