Performance Psychology - Coping with Stress

In this workshop, led by the Cirque de Soleil Performance Psychologist Madeleine Halle, you’ll discover ways to cope with stress positively, so you can feel more control over your life and your dance career.

-Build a good understanding of the stress process

-Develop the skills needed to manage stress

-Learn ways to implement these skills on a daily basis

Registration: Free for DTRC members/ $20 for non-members.
When: Sunday October 25th 10:00am- 2:00pm
Where: Dancer Transition Resource Centre, 250 The Esplanade


About Dr. Madeleine Hallé

Dr. Madeleine Hallé is a performance and sports psychologist who has worked with Cirque du Soleil for the past fi ve years. With twenty years of experience in her fi eld, and with extensive graduate training in psychology and kinetics, including a doctorate in sports psychology, she is uniquely qualifi ed to discuss and illuminate the psychological aspects of performance. Dr. Hallé continues to offer workshops for professional dancers and artists nationwide through the Dancer Transition Resource Centre, the Artists’ Health Centre, and the Glenn Gould School, among many other organizations.
