Choreographing Your Future: Transferable Skills for Dancers (1:00 – 3:00pm)

with Joanna Mackie and Margot Collins, DTRC Career Counsellors

• increased awareness of skills, knowledge and attitudes that a dance career has fostered
• enhanced skill in articulating skills, knowledge and attitudes to diverse audiences/ potential employers
• exploration of a changing identity when transitioning from a career in dance or building a portfolio career

Skills for Communicating & Preventing Conflict
(3:15-5:00pm)

with Elizabeth Chitty, Executive Director of CADA-ON

• explore communication blockers & listening skills
• explore your conflict style
• learn some basics of principled negotiation

Location: Suite 120, Centre for Social Innovation, 215 Spadina Ave., Toronto

Fees:
Both workshops: $20.00 for CADA-ON or DTRC members / $30.00 non-members

Single workshop: $15.00 for CADA-ON or DTRC members
